Trimix Diving

Welcome to the IDDA’s Trimix Diving course!

In this course you will learn how to safely and effectively use Trimix, a mixture of oxygen, helium and nitrogen, to reach depths greater than 40 meters. You’ll learn how to prepare trimix cylinders, how to mix the right amount of gas, and how to calculate gas consumption rates.

We will also look at the theory of deep diving, including physics, medicine, and deco strategies. You will also learn how to use specialized equipment, such as rebreathers and sidemount systems.

Upon completion of the course, you will be able to safely and effectively conduct trimix dives and confidently navigate the world of deep and technical diving.
