Assistant Trainer

Welcome to the IDDA Assistant Trainer Course!

As an assistant trainer you are an important part of teaching diving. In this course, you will learn how to organize and conduct dives, as well as how to teach divers safely and effectively. You’ll also learn the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and resolve emergencies before they become major problems.

After Divemaster, Assistant Trainer is your next step to IDDA Pro! Upon completion of the course, you will be able to work under supervision and teach various courses as an assistant. You will also be able to work as an assistant to the main trainer in conducting professional dives.

In this course you will learn how to deliver learning content, how to give feedback and how to create a safe environment for students. You will also learn how to create a lesson plan and how to adapt learning methods to meet student needs.

This course is a great way to improve your teaching skills while helping others learn to dive.
